Anchorage

Tico has adapted well to the camping lifestyle.  He sleeps all day in the truck and as soon as we arrive at camp he checks out the picnic tables and firepits.  He loves the long hours of sunshine and spending so much time with us.

Day 19, June 12, 2011   Sunset 12:34 AM

We spend a relaxing Sunday touring the city of Anchorage.  We took a trolley bus that showed us all the sites, including the best place to see a moose, (no moose there at the time).

Then we visited the local farmers & artisan market.  I had halibut tacos and Henry had reindeer sausage, south american style.  I guess fusion cooking is everywhere.

Then we hit the local wal-mart and stocked up on supplies for the rest of the trip.
